Garden Lifestyle Restaurant @ TheCurve ♥

To celebrate a friend of mine came back from Japan during his break, a group of us make our move to TheCurve @ Mutiara Damansara. At the end, we decided to try a new restaurant at TheCurve, right at the end of the row towards cinema, called the Garden.

It was basically themed after the English garden and menu was pretty much fusion. The ambiance was really neat with pretty lightnings and elaborate ceiling decorations.

Super lots of people during the dinner time. We need to wait for our foods to be served.

While waiting..........

Finally, the foods are here!!!

I loved the Chef's Homemade Wild Mushroom Soup. ♥ Few kinds of Mushrooms cooked in a tasty stock then blended smooth and finished off with a swirl of fresh cream.

Here is my Main Course - Chef recommended : Garden Black Pepper Chicken Chop. Thick black pepper sauce with four miserable long beans. The portion is just nice for me. ♥

Others than mine....

Butter Ginger Dory Fish

Spaghetti Marinara

Deep Fried Breaded Chicken Cut

The price for the whole meal was also really reasonable. The whole meal was only RM 109.25. This is a nice place to hang out. For sure I will come back again... ♥

p.s. Hope to come with you guys again ♥

Full House @ NZX, Ara Damansara ♥

I had a nice lunch with my best friend, Shamaine at the Full House restaurant in NZX. Full House is a very unique Western-style restaurant located in NZX (Niu Ze Xui), Ara Damansara. The restaurant was decorated beautifully. There is a mini-cooper right infront of their restaurant. Also, the waiters and waitresses were dressed like maids. The management did pay attention to every little details to their decorations they have here. Even the menu was hand-drawn too. Although the menu do not have much varieties of foods, but it doesn't really matter as long as the quality of their foods is good.

While waiting for the foods to be served.....

Finally, the foods are here~

We ordered mushroom soup, chicken chop, seafood pasta, tiramisu, and flower tea which is refillable. The mushroom soup is very creamy and tasty. I really love the baked almond flakes in it. The sauce of the chicken chop is nice, sweet and sour. Seafood pasta is so-so. Tiramisu is very thick and smooth.

Sweet and Sour Chicken Chop

Tiramisu

Total spent of this meal only take around RM 67, reasonable. Besides, the food portion is just nice for girl, but it may not be satisfied for a guy. Overall, I had an enjoyable time during here. Full House is a nice place to relax and hang out with friends. It creates the perfect atmosphere for any individual to sit, read a book, meet new people, have some coffee or simply hang out.

p.s. Camera is a must when you visit Full House♥

Chilis ♥

Shamaine came to KL again!!!

We were at Chili's Grill & Bar @ OneUtama to have our dinner after a day out. We were extremely hungry and everyone hopes to have somthing with B-I-G portion for sinner!!! So our destination is Chilies! Since it was dinner time, the place was jam packed with people (There were cute Ang Mohs around too!!!).

Finally managed to squeeze into the packed restaurant and be seated about 7.30pm...

The menu

While waiting for the meal...

All the tables were occupied. It was weekday!!!

We were starving... Ggrrrrr... Hungry man can do anything!!!

At last the foods were served, after we waited for about 15-20 minutes. Not bad though, because they served all at one go.

Chicken Club Tacos

My main course : grilled mesquite chicken breast with chopped beef bacon, ancho-chile ranch dressing, diced tomatoes, mixed cheeses and lettuce. It is served with rice and black beans. It is my all time favorite. Delicious and Nutritious. Love It ♥

Chocolate Molten Cake

Warm chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling. Topped with vanilla ice cream under a crunchy chocolate shell. This dessert is very sinful... Gosh~ It was really rich in chocolate and the sauce was very sweet to some of us but I was OK with it.

HELP! LAVA BURSTING OUT!

Imagine warm chocolate cake + fudge + freeze cold ice cream = PERFECT !!!
Was so guilty after eating this... gotta do more workout to burn that extra calories...

Ipoh Bean Sprouts Chicken Rice ♥

During the trip to Ipoh, I finally had the opportunity to try the famous Bean Sprouts Chicken (Nga Choi Gai). Besides being the most famous, Lou Wong was also agreed, by many to serve one of the best Bean Sprouts Chicken Rice in Ipoh.

Ipoh Bean Sprout Chicken Rice (Nga Choi gai) is a deceptively simple dish but it's one of those things that's hard to do right. I have had horrendous chicken rice - rubbery and tasteless - and really orgasmic chicken rice.

Well I think everyone should know that Bean Sprouts Chicken is similar to Hainan Chicken Rice, just that is eaten together with a plate of bean sprouts. Lou Wong's steamed chicken's skin had this slippery smooth texture and tender yet firm flesh, which was truly terrific.

Lou Wong's Bean Sprouts Chicken Rice is strongly recommended♥

Foh San Dim Sum @ Ipoh ♥

Family and I were looking forwards to try out the Foh San Dim Sum on the second day at Ipoh. Since this place is extremely popular, in order to get a seat is HARD... Jam packed with people standing right next to going-to-finish-eating tables. Hinting these people to get up ASAP. We sat near a waterfall where we could enjoy the scenic outdoor views while having our "yum cha".

As the waister comes with the pushcarts and trolleys, I had got those "dim sum" I like. Sometimes when I couldn't wait for the cart to come, I get to go to the station and get my own desire dishes.

Among all the dim sum dishes, "siew mai" is my favorite dishes. It is a M-U-S-T to try when come to dim sum restaurant.

Siew Mai

Chilli Yong Tao Fu - has a nice filling~

Chee Cheong Fun

I was satisfied with all the foods here. Their dim sum are really fresh. Hence, it is not surprise that many food lovers from outstation will make it a point to travel to Ipoh just to have a taste of the dim sum there.

The Best Nasi Lemak ever ♥

Village Park Restaurant @ Petaling Jaya Uptown, serves the best Nasi Lemak ever!!!

This wasn't my first time to Village Park, but still love it so much... They do, however, serves the very good nasi lemak and really awesome roti bakar.

I was seated at a table along the walkway as the restaurant was already packed with customers by lunch hour. Despite so, the service was quite fast. As usual, I ordered Ayam Goreng Nasi Lemak which is their best seller by far, same to my sister and parents.

Ayam Goreng Nasi Lemak

The ayam goreng has a crispy skin and texture which indicates that it was deep fried using rempah (spices). The chicken was nicely fried till golden brown and very aromatic. They were also generous to give the entire chicken thigh.

Roti Bakar

The other absolute must try dish from Village Park is their roti bakar. The roti bakar was surprisingly good!!! The toast was very crispy and had the right amount of butter and kaya.

This is the nest nasi lemak I have tasted. I would highly recommend this place for any nasi lemak lovers.

p.s. Huey Ghee, this is place where I want to bring you for Nasi Lemak.

Satay ♥

I am a big fan of Kajang Satay but could bear traveling all the way to Kajang. Fortunately the taste of Kajang Satay could be found in the busy area of PJ Uptown.
Tahhdah!!! Haji Samuri Satay Kajang to the rescue!!!

We sat at first floor where can see the place workers prepare the satays clearly.

We ordered 10 chicken satays, 10 fish satays and 5 beef satays.

The other thing I absolutely love about them is their very thick peanut gravy which comes with the sambal (chili sauce) separately. So you can customize your own spiciness of the gravy. (Can add as much as you like to give it all the kick you wish). A must have of course is the ketupat that goes so well with the gravy. Besides satay, the outlet also serves nasi goreng, mee goreng, nasi paprik, mee bandung, etc.

Steamboat Buffet @ Momo Paradise♥

It's Friday, after Food Processing Lab. All the way to Kepong to hunt for this restaurant - Momo Paradise, with Ghee and Joyce. Since it locates at Menjalara, so it wasn't too hard to find this restaurant.

Before enter to this restaurant, we were worried that it will as crowded and noisy as those conventional steamboat restaurant, but surprisingly it's not. It is with clean and fully air conditioned environment. Besides, I found the concept of this restaurant was interesting. Imagine a cross between sushi and steamboat. The choices of food were displayed along the conveyor belt, just like those in Japanese sushi restaurants. So we can pick the choice and eat the heart out. At least it do not have to eat and count the colours of the plates like usually do in Japanese sushi restaurant. This is because you will be charged RM25 nett. By paying this price, you can enjoy all the foods and drink is free flow.

Range of dish choices are good, from paper-thin beef, pork slices to seafood balls and of course, the usual vegetables and noodles. Besides, they will serve some of the ready to eat items.

Since, it's a buffet and it's free flow. We ate as much as we can. We stayed there from 6pm to almost 9pm.
p.s. HueyGhee, I know you like this place very much. We will be back, for sure. ♥
